Job Title:Trainee Systems Trainer

Reporting to:Learning & Development Manager

Location:Head Office based with national remit

Salary & Benefits:£18,000 to £20,000 basic salary plus 10% bonus

28 days AL, rising to 33 days AL after 12 months service.

Purpose of role:

To write, deliver and evaluate first level training on all internal Newcross systems and processes, support, whilst contributing to the overall aims and objectives of the L&D department & our Mission and our Values.

Newcross Healthcare Solutions is a highly successful national healthcare business. Head Office based in Berry Pomeroy, Devon, 40+ further business locations. Currently growing at 45% per annum, our business has more than doubled in size in recent years based on our ‘Quality’ offering. Strategic aims are to grow a further 10 branches over next 12 months organically and achieve our five year plan.

Key Tasks:

  • Write and deliver ‘user friendly’ step by step training for all Newcross internal IT systems (Bookings, Monty, ICE, Opera, IPad etc) via remote access, individual 1to1 sessions, small group and classrooms based delivery methods.
  • Champion & promote the development of greater IT skills & use of eLearning across the business and constantly seek out new and innovative ways to deliver training on a range of useful and necessary subject areas (including Microsoft office and generic software packages)
  • Own and manage all induction ‘systems and process’ training for office based new starters across the business; this includes delivery of a range of systems courses in Torquay (after significant training) and regular review and update of new starter’s induction workbooks.
  • To support the L&D specialist in the delivery of L&D events, particularly Company Induction, across all business locations
  • Regularly evaluate all training delivered to ensure it is fit for purpose, minimum standards of content are included and delivered, and that colleagues are competent and signed off in line with agreed standards.
  • Achieve a minimum number of training hours delivered in line with HRD expectations.
  • Work as part of wider L&D team to assess future training needs across the business by area and job function and ensure a prompt and cost effective solution is found, approved and implemented.
  • Work as part of a wider L&D team to create and regularly update a central training calendar covering all activity within your remit to ensure training dates meets with business needs
  • Keep records of all learning events and provide accurate management information as required.
  • Support the L&D Administrator in the production of reports and analysis as required

Recent office based work experience

IT Literate - MS Office, email, databases

Desirable

Previous experience in supporting learning and understanding of processes/systems

Previous Training design and delivery experience

A Training related qualification

Knowledge of e-Learning software applications

Knowledge of Newcross internal IT systems

CIPD Qualification

Clinical Background/understanding of Healthcare
