Description of Duties: The Certified Nurse Assistant will assist nursing staff in assessing the consumers physical and mental condition according to policies and procedures, complete required documentation in patient and unit records, follow procedures regarding infection control, maintain their certification, perform basic nursing procedures, such as taking vital signs, weight, specimens according to the treatment plan, provide training and/or direction to consumers in activities of daily living in order to promote increased independence and utilize correct body mechanics in performing patient care activities to prevent injury. This is an hourly position, 0-29 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with Mental Health Consumers.

Pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check required. If appointed, applicant will be subjected to a Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record Databases.
