Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst will play crucial role in the preparation and development ofboth functional and technical specifications.You will bedelivery focused with a strong technical and Agile background, and you will needexcellent knowledge of modelling techniques such as BPMN and UML.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, understanding andcommunicating the business requirements for the Tungsten Workflow product line and translating these into functional/technical specifications and detailed test plans.
  • Analysis and documentation of business processes. Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from the product manager and project team (for client facing requirements) on the specifications.
  • Provide the link between the project team, customer (internal or external), development team and any third party regarding software functionality throughout the development life cycle.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience with documenting requirements and specifications for a variety of software applications, websites, and/or mobile experiences, including business, functional and technical requirements
  • Technical background with a proven experience working in the software industry
  • RDBMS knowledge and experience (SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2).
  • Basic knowledge of PC, client/server, and network environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Internet Information Services, and Application Management.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
