14 Jun 06 / Bernard signed into ISCA1 today and EC did assessment. Bernard relies on public transport. First preference is kitchenhand work and he has a Food Safety Certificate. Also has RSA. Bernard’s relevant experience is two years at Red Rooster. He is also interested in telesales and call centre work – has a few months experience. He worked at Big W as a cashier for a year and has also done a few months night filling. Bernard is highly motivated with exceptional communication skills. EC referred Bernard to Jumpstart information session for Customer Contact Course on 4 July 2006. Also referred Bernard to Interview Skills Module with Josh on Wednesday 21 June 2006. Also referred Bernard to JR for kitchenhand job in St Vincent’s Road.
27 Jun 06 / SMSed client to remind him of his appointment at 9.00 am tomorrow.
28 Jun 06 / EC rang Bernard to find out why he didn’t attend appointment today. He said he thought it was tomorrow. EC resulted appointment DNAI and made new appointment for Bernard Monday 3 July 2006 at 10.00 am.
3 Jul 06 / Bernard attended appointment today. He is attending Jumpstart Customer Contact course information session tomorrow. If he is successful in his application he will do the course 17 – 21 July 2006. He also has an interview for ABS Data Processing job 25 July 2006. Bernard also expressed interest in getting a Food Handling Certificate. It can be done via the course run by TTF (local training provider) Level I and Level II (which enables one to supervise others) costs $210. EC suggested we hold off on the Food Safety Certificates until he had been to the Jumpstart information session and interview for ABS job. Bernard agreed.

14 Jul 06 / Phone call to Bernard about missed appointment today. He had a second interview today with Westview Apartments. The interview went well and he is quite hopeful.
New appointment made for 19 July 2006.
18 Jul 06 / SMSed Bernard to remind him of his appointment tomorrow

19 Jul 06 / Bernard is starting work on Monday at Westview so he was unable to attend meeting. Details of new position obtained.
24 Jul 06 / EC lodged FOE in EA3000 today. Bernard started casual on-call kitchenhand work with Westview Apartments.

28 Jul 06 / Client is working today, unable to attend meeting. New appointment made.
24 Aug 06 / EC spoke to Bernard. He said the job was going really well and he is getting plenty of work. He is very happy there. EC then spoke to Jess, in the kitchen at Westview Apartments who advised that Bernard is going very well, they are very happy with him. She advised that Bernard has been doing approximately 32 hpw, that is 4.30 pm to 11.00 pm Monday to Friday. Jess advised that this is written down somewhere with the Head Chef, Gary Mulwell, so it’s not official, but approximate. EC asked Bernard to fax his pay details to EC ASAP.
