MIDDLE SCHOOL HOURS: 8:00 to 3:25

Welcome back to another great school! This bulletin is going out to all MS students. We are excited to be back and that you are a part of our school. Our teachers are ready for a year planned for learning and growing. We invite each parent to become involved and come to school as often as you can. Parents are their child’s best teacher. Every Friday the weekly bulletin will be emailed to parents.

Attendance –Reminder that students that are absent because of doctor's appointment will need to have a note from the doctor's office. Please contact the office before 9:00 am for any absence. Thank you for your cooperation!

ASAP (After School Assistance Program) starts on Tuesday, September 6 from 3:30 to 4:30. It will be every Tuesday and Thursday that school is in session. ASAP is primarily for 6th – 8th grade students. 5th grade students may attend with permission from their parent and their classroom teacher.

iPads – 6th through 8th grade students received their iPads this week. If you have questions about the iPads please contact the MS. Some reminders to reinforce with your students:

  • Don’t leave your iPad unattended, know where it is at all times, do not leave on the ground
  • Screen – do not put too much weight on your screen, a cracked screen is $120

MS Parents:

We would like parents of all MS sports participants to sign up for one concession event this year. All events are accessible via the link provided below. The JW Booster Club sponsors the MS Concessions and they need your help and support to keep it going. Please take time to register at the following link to access sign-ups for MS Concessions. An email reminder will be sent to you a couple weeks and a couple days prior to your scheduled event. Thank you for your support of the MS and the JW Booster Club! Parents of those not involved in MS sports may also sign-up via the link below to access JW Booster Club events.

Before School Drop off – Please drop off students by the Ag shop, not in front of the MS. We start breakfast at 7:45. Students do not need to be in the building before that time. Thanks!

Busses will pick up elementary students first and then pick up middle school students. If you need to pick your student up after school please wait for them in the gravel parking lot west of the Ag Shop. Thanks for your help in this matter.

Bullying – Is your child or another child being bullied? Our guide at JWMS in regards to bullying is the following questions:

  • Is it hurtful?
  • Is it repeated?
  • Is it on purpose?

If the answer to all three is yes then a bullying situation is occurring and needs to be reported. An anonymous way to report this is on the middle school website. Go to then click on the middle school button, then JWMS Bullying Report Form. Thanks for your help in continuing to make our school a safe place to learn
