The second hospital in the world to harness the power of the Skyra 3T MRI, HCG takes diagnostic imaging to a whole new level. This cutting edge technology allows clinicians to get an enhanced diagnosis, which aids in deciding an optimal course of treatment and better clinical outcomes.

The Skyra 3 Tesla MRI incorporates Tim (Total imaging matrix) and Dot (Day optimizing throughput) technology. In simple terms, this allows uniquely tailored and optimized scans, configurable to the patient’s condition or a clinical question. It also allows higher spatial and temporal resolution without having to reposition the patient.

  1. Myocardial Blood Flow

First center in Asia to offer quantification of MBF, which is also called as FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve). This is absolutely non-invasive, FFR is expected to become a gold standard in evaluating the need for revascularization procedures such as angioplasty, stenting and CABG

  1. Cyclotron: First in the state of Karnataka. HCG has state of the art GE Pet-trace 16.5 Mev Cyclotron with the highest capacity Pet-tracer production facility in the country. CGMP laboratory has been set up which meets FDA and EU norms and is the first of its kind in the country. Co-sitting of both Cyclotron and PET CT scanner within the facility is an added advantage to carry out most sophisticated PET CT scan using very short lived isotopes. HCG also has PET probes which assist in cancer surgery. Pet guided Radiotherapy planning system helps in PET guided Radiotherapy.
