The practice set is due.

Homework is due by 9PM on Sunday. For example, Week One homework is due by 9PM on …. If you get stuck on a problem click on the “hint” button and you will be taken to the page in the e-book that explains the objective. I also encourage you to work together via the discussion room in completing all homework assignments and the practice set (although you must each submit these individually for grading).

The group assignments require two postings to the discussion board each week. Each week you must pick two of the group activities to work on and post one of your answers to the discussion board by Thursday at 9PM of that week. Additionally, you must respond to one of your classmates postings by Sunday at 9PM (preferably one which you have a different answer to, if all of your answers agree – go ahead and post that you got the same answer and why). You must email the two problems you selected to me by 9PM Sunday.

All homework and group assignments receive full credit so long as a good faith effort is made to complete the work. The practice set is graded upon accuracy and completeness – this is a course requirement and must be completed! Late homework receives no credit.

Quizzes are timed – you will have 30 minutes to complete each quiz. The quizzes consist of 10 multiple choice and true/false questions.

Academic Collaboration and Integrity

I encourage you to collaborate with fellow students in completing all assignments. Use the discussion room to post your questions, collaborate on group assignments, and discuss potential solutions to the problems.

Although I encourage collaboration on assignments and the practice set, the quizzes, midterm, and final are to be completed by you alone. Cheating and/or plagiarism on these tests will not be tolerated and could result in a failing grade for the course.

I’ll be posting additional information relating to the course in the discussion room available to students registered in the course. Again, welcome to Introduction to Accounting-Bookkeeping.
