VENUE OF COMPETITION:

All competition events and practice sessions will take place at:

Tukuma Ice Hall(an indoor heated ice-rink with the ice surface of 28 x 58 m)

Stadiona str. 3, Tukums, Latvia

ENTRIES:

All ISU Members and all Clubs, National Figure Skating Federations associated with ISU are invited to the competition in any category and class. However, the Organizer shall have the right to limit the number of skaters from the invited clubs, and split categories if the number of participants requires that.

Entries must be submitted in a written form and must contain the competitor’s full name and date of birth, full name of team leader, coach and chaperon, date of arrival and departure. For participating, please fill in the enclosed entry form and return it to the following address:

ENTRY FEE:

Single Skating with one program (A & B Class): 50€

Single Skating with two programs: 60€

Entry fees must be plaid after confirmation of club’s participation. Bill must be paid with one (1) transaction for all the participants of each club.

RESPONSABILITY:

In accordance to ISU Constitution, rule 119, all participants act at their own responsibility.

PROTESTS:

Each team has the right to submit protest against the judges’ decision. Protests must be submitted to the Referee of the relevant event at the latest immediately after the event. Upon the submission of the protest a protest fee of 50 EUR must be paid. The referee’s decision is final. In the new ISU Judging Systems no protests can be filed against the judges (see Rule 123), but against the right determination of the executed element or any calculation error. In the ISU Judging System protest can be submitted in 24 hours after subsegment (e.g. Short Program) and before the awarding ceremony after the final segment (e.g. Free Skating). Protest must be done in a written form to the referee of the relevant segment. Please read ISU Rule 123.

THE CODE OF ETHICKS:

All the skaters, coaches, judges, chaperons should follow the ISU Communication Nr. 1433. Action against this rule conducts behind itself the disqualification of skater.

LIABILITY:

In accordance with ISU Rule 119 the Organizer accepts no liability for injury, property loss or damages incurred by Competitors or Officials. The Organizer will provide medical emergency aid during the competition.

MUSIC:

Music will be reproduced from CD player. CDs must be labeled with names of competitors, club and category which they participate. CDs must be delivered not later than one (1) hour before the start of relevant segment. Music must be leaved on the music desk.

AWARDING:

The first three best placed competitors in each event will be awarded by cups or medals, special presents and diplomas; others by diplomas and presents.

JUDGES:

Each participating Club may nominate one, at least international level judge. In case of too many judge entries, the organizer will draw the panels of judges after the deadline. Final judge’s panels will be published.

RESULTS:

The results for (A class) Novice, Junior and Senior categories will be calculated according to ISU judging system.

Chicks – Cubs (A Class) will be calculated according to Adapted Classification for Youngsters for season 2013/2014 (attached in Appendix 2).

All the B Class categories will be calculated according to „B Group Classification for season 2013/2014“ (2nd part of Appendix 2) using ISU judging system.

DRAW:

Draws will be done by electronic draws on Thursday 17th April 2014. The starting order will be available on Friday, 18th April 2014, on the website

EXPENSES:

All participants and teams must pay the accommodation and transportation themselves.

TRANSPORTATION:

In case the transportation is needed, please fill in the travel form and send it to e-mail by April15th,2014. Transfer fee is 20 Eur per person in one direction. The skating rink is situated 50 km from Riga International Airport.

ACCOMMODATION

All participants have to book and pay the accommodation by themselves.

NB! There is no shuttle-bus service at this competition.
