Concept of activity of IDSA

1. World and European Championships, World and European Cups in all age groups and programs are adjudicated only by well-known and highly professional adjudicators with license of WD&DSC,finalists of Balckpool Festival and finalists of WD&DSC World and European Championships. Structure of adjudicators’ panel with names is approved by WD&DSC President - Donnie Burns MBE.
2. For participation in World and European Championships, World and European Cups in all age groups 5 dance couples are admitted from full member, 3 dance couples are admitted from associated member and 1 dance couple is admitted from provisional member. Also 24 best couples of IDSA ranking are admitted and best 48 couples according to results of Blackpool Festival are admitted.

IDSA full member can be the organization which is engaged in development of DanceSport in the given country, is registered in corresponding judicial authority and is the legal person, cooperates with the state bodies on the contract basis in the given country, has the status of national federation on DanceSport and the recognition of National Olympic Committee, and also IDSA full member can be the organization which is the first one to join IDSA from the country.

IDSA associated member can be the organization which promotes development of dance in the given country, is registered in corresponding judicial authority and is the legal person.

IDSA collective members can be international unifications of dance organizations, collectives of the enterprises, establishments, organizations which share IDSA purposes, its statute tasks and promote activity of IDSA.

IDSA provisional member can be organization which promotes development of dance in the given country and is at the stage of legal registration.

Only one organization from the country can be full member. The amount of associated, collective and provisional members from one country is not limited.

To IDSA General Meeting are delegated by:

- IDSA full members - three representatives with a vote;

- IDSA associated members- two representatives with a vote;

- IDSA collective members- one representative with a vote.

- provisional members - one representative with a vote.

1. Couples of all organizations which are engaged in promotion of dancesport are admitted to competitions of IDSA calendar. Dance couples - members of IDSA can participate in all competitions which are conducted by organizations which are engaged in promotion of dancesport.
2. All international competitions of the IDSA calendar can be adjudicated only by adjudicators with actual international license of WD&DSC.
3. Non-limited amount of organizations from one country can be members of IDSA. Membership fee for one year for full member is 300 Euro, for associated member it is 200 Euro, for provisional member it is 100 Euro.
4. The fee fir the right to conduct one program of World and European Championship, World and European Cup is 300 Euro. The fee for the right to conduct open ranking competitions of the category International Open is 200 Euro per program. The fee for the right to conduct open ranking competitions of the category IDSA Open is 100 Euro per program.
5. IDSA is open for cooperation with all other international organizations which are engaged in promotion of dancesport in the world.
6. Current sportsmen-dancers can be individual members of IDSA without right to vote at General Meeting. Annual membership fee is 50 Euro per person.
