SUB GROUPS – In the first instance, the Sub Groups will produce written material for use in the consultation document, which will describe proposed changes to primary legislation and will provide some supporting contextual information, to enable an informed response from respondents. The timescale for contributing to the consultation on changes to primary legislation means that this input will be required by the end of February. Subsequent work will also be required to identify changes in secondary legislation, along with requirements for guidance to be amended or developed. The timescales for these outputs will be longer term, will cover the period of consultation itself and beyond, and will be clarified as the timescale for legislation is confirmed.
