• Shot at a half-dozen Lollapalooza rock concerts around the country, this short documentary

questions whether the Gen X "slacker" stereotype is a pose or a real expression of despair.

search of "authentic" culture, only to find icons from his native land celebrated and exoticized.

“Tell Me Do You Miss Me” (feature documentary),2006

• A meditation on music, fame, and middle age, this feature documentary is the story of the

breakup of the popular New York City band Luna. To be released on DVD by Rhino Home Video,

it will have its theatrical premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, 2006.

"The Kentucky Theatre" (documentary short), 2003 (co-editor)

• This half-hour documentary about a historic Lexington movie palace premiered on Kentucky

Public Television in October 2003.

“Lost in La Mancha” (feature documentary), 2002

• This feature documentary was widely hailed by critics as one of the best documentaries of 2003,

and took in over $700,000 at the box office domestically .

• Official Selection at the Berlin Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, and Telluride Film Festival.

• Winner of The Peter Sellers Award for Best Comedy, given by The Evening Standard (London).

• "Max, 13," is a 16mm narrative feature about a 13 year-old boy's summer vacation. Shot in rural

Northern California locations with all non-actors, it was inspired by Italian Neo-Realist cinema.
