adidas launches SS12 Team GB Originals collection

London, 2011 – with 6 months to go until the London 2012 Olympic Games open,adidas is launchingthe first SS12 Team GB Originals collection of womenswear, infantwear and accessories. The Team GB Originals collection fuses signature Originals silhouettes with a colour palette inspired by the Team GBkitfromthe Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games, when adidas sponsoredTeam GBfor the very first time.
The Spring/Summer 2012 collection continues to feature the red, white and blue three stripe taping detail, acrossall ranges. Every piece includes the iconic Originals Trefoil logo and the Team GB logo, giving the range the official stamp of Team GB approval.
New to the SS12 Team GB Originals range is the women’s capsule collectioncomprising five key apparel pieces and a classic footwear silhouette.Featuringtraditional Team GB red, white and blue colourways and three stripe detail, items are signed off with gold trefoil logos.A highlight of the women’s apparel collection is a longline hoody with an on-trend oversized silhouette which comes in grey heather, white and red, finished with collegiate adidas lettering and gold trefoil logo.
Infantwear is another addition to the SS12 Team GB Originals collection. Perfect for every budding little athlete, the tracksuit is available in indigo blue and grey heather with Great Britain insigniaso now even the youngest of fans can get behind Team GB at London 2012.
Highlights of the men’s collection include the classic track top with Great Britain insignia and multi stripe execution, as well as the Nizza Hi trainers, an adidas classic court shoe with an official Team GB lion logo badge sign off. The men’s collection also features shorts for the first time as well astrack-inspired staples such astees, polos, stripe and non-stripe hoodies, zip and non-zip hoodies, tracktops, fleece pants and must-have footwear styles.
