In Order to Expand This Family Focused Holiday Experience, We Must Also Expand Our Funding

It began four years ago on the porch of the Auburn Promenade. Santa Claus came back to Downtown Auburn to greet children in the same fashion as was tradition in Auburn’s history.His return merited a big celebration so the Family Christmas Festival began. Lincoln Way was closed from the Clock Tower to Cleveland Avenue. Music filled the street and children participated in Christmas crafts and story-telling. Hundreds were in attendance and we received such positive feedback that the festival hasnow become an annual Auburn event. The 4th Annual Family Christmas Festival will be held Sunday, December 10th, 2017.

In order to expand this family focused holiday experience, we must also expand our funding for the event. With the help of sponsors we propose to:

• Showcase local talentthroughout the event.
• Create a magical experience for children by offering train & pony rides and increasing our holiday craft and game options.
• Bring back the beloved characters from “Frozen” alongside Santa and the Grinch for children to meet and greet.

We are looking for sponsors and volunteers to help the festival grow and remain a Downtown Auburn tradition.

In an effort to provide 8 to 12 craft and game booths we are offering exclusive sponsorships of these booths. You can choose to man the booth or we will pair you with a community organization to run the activity itself. Your business can provide advertising signs and handouts to be included at the booth.
