PRE-BID MEETING HELD ON 13/3/2013 AT MAKER TOWERS to clarify doubts, if any, raised by the Bidders present. All the points raised by the bidders were clarified to their satisfaction. Details of which are given below:

Live Fire fighting practice on following modules :
- Oil Storage Tank
- Rim sealfire module
- Piping Manifold
- Pumping station
- Truck/wagon loading
- Open trench fire
- Tank Dyke spill fire
- Electrical Fires including MCC, transformers & cables etc.
By using following :
-Rim seal fire protection system including fire detection & suppression module
-Water spray system
-Fixed Foam System
-Manual / remote operated variable flow foam- cum - water monitors ( 500/750/1000 GPM)
-MEFG
-Hydrants & monitors
-Emergency kits items as applicable
-Any other items as applicable / required /
  • Briefing by instructor on all the modules
  • Group exercise for the participants.
  • Fire-fighting exercise/practice shall be carried out once on each module.
  • All the participants shall be divided into various sub-groups to cover all the modules.
  • During such exercises, all the participants shall be exposed at least once as front end /key fire fighting personnel in any one of the modules.
  • An ambulance shall be kept at training centre for evacuation in case of emergency
