Christian ValuesThe Value for this Half Term is: Friendship
This Half Term's Christian Value is 'Friendship.' This is a great value to start the new school year with. The children will be exploring the Christian belief that we can call God our friend because of the relationship made possible through Jesus. We will also be talking about being a good friend and the ways we can mend broken friendships when we fall out.
This week we are praying for children as they have their half term break. We pray for a restful week for all our families and chance to recharge ready for the next half term. If you would like us to pray for anything in particular, please fill in the prayer slip at the bottom of the newsletter and send it to school. It can be anonymous if you prefer.
Half Term
School breaks up today for the October Half Term holiday and opens again on Monday 31st October 2016 at 8.40am. Have a lovely week together with your children and we look forward to seeing you for the next half term of hard work and Christmas build up!

Dogs
Dogs are not allowed on the school site whether being carried or on a lead. Please do not being dogs onto the school site at all. They are also not allowed on after school hours and certainly onto on the field as a walking area. Please respect the children’s right to have a dog free, dog mess clear school site.
Great Learners
Every Friday our teachers nominate children to receive certificates for being ‘Great Learners’. These are children who have demonstrated independence and commitment to their learning. We will publish the names on newsletters to give you a change to say an extra ‘well done’ to the children.
