Don Carlos is offering to chaperone a trip to Spain in July, so that students may experience a wonderful language immersion and homestay opportunity in Cadiz, Andalucia with Centro MundoLengua – a reputable, experienced Spanish language program of Sevilla, Spain. If youare a mature, open-minded, responsible student with two or more years of Spanish, and if you are looking for a chance to put your Spanish skills to the test, then this trip is just what you need! You will experience three weeks of exciting tours and fun, cultural activities, and will be speaking the language, living the culture and befriending the people of Spain, all while having the time of your life. Madrid, Cordoba & Sevilla tours:
Tours of the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, the Prado & Queen Sofia Fine Arts Museums and other historical sites like the ancient cathedral-mosque and World Heritage city centers.

Andalucia, the land of Flamenco: Spanish Language School & Family Home-stay Immersion with weekend tours. Centro Mundolengua offers a fantastic ten-day language and culture program tailored to fit your Spanish level.

Total Package of 3-week tour includes Airfare, transportation, lodging, city tours, Spanish language program and family homestay: Approximately $4950, depending on airfare and group size.

A Tour of Fabulous Spain

Many travelers are discovering the beauty and diversity of Spain, and this is just the summer to see what they are raving about.Don Carlos will take you on a wonderful tour of Spain, where you will experience its history, people and culture – a tour that will change the way you look at the world and your place in it. You will stand face-to-face with legendary works of art and architecture, see history come alive as you immerse yourself into the Spanish language and culture. It will be an experience neither a textbook nor classroom can match.

This Spain tour provides you the complete educational package, including city excursions, Spanish language courses with highly-qualified teachers, and a family home-stay, all providing you many opportunities to improve your spoken Spanish. The tour includes your airfare, quality transportation and lodging, sightseeing guides, and museum tours. You will be given a good balance of structured activities and time to enjoy Spanish life, and safe experiences that encourage academic and personal growth.

Madrid Tour Example

After a breakfast of tortilla española (a Spanish omelette) with baguettes and fresh-squeezed orange juice, you will visit to the amazing Royal Palace, followed by a stroll along the café-filled streets into the Plaza Mayor and the old town. As we continue to discover Madrid’s beautiful charm, we will try delicious ‘helados’, ‘café con leche’, ‘horchata’, and ‘bocadillos’. Then it is off to the wonderful Prado and Queen Sofia Museums where the grandest exhibits of Spain’s artwork are put on public display.

Another special stop is in the ParqueRetiro where you can sit and watch Spaniards enjoying a break in the afternoon and partake in a relaxing siesta in the shade of its trees. Now, it’s back to the hotel for a refreshing shower that will put you in the mood for an evening out on the town for food and fun. Spain’s reputation for great ‘tapas’ (Spanish appetizers), and its evening activities are world famous. Many Spaniards, young and old, go out for an evening stroll called ‘El Paseo’, and the streets come alive as they walk, chat, eat and people watch. We will visit ‘tapa’ restaurants full of families and friends enjoying delicious food and good conversation, while listening and clapping to Spanish flamenco music and dancing. All in all, it is a great opportunity to experience Spain’s way of life and practice your Spanish firsthand!

The expected cost of this 3-week tour for a group of is approximately $4950 per traveler. The cost includes air travel, transportation, city tours with lodging; Spanish language classes with books and materials, and a two-week home stay. Experienced chaperones and guides accompany the group to ensure a safe, enjoyable and educational trip. It is a tour package for the smaller group, allowing for a unique, personable tour, and thus, a more enjoyable and meaningful experience, that larger tour groups cannot offer.
