ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF PROJECT JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the following research project funded by DST SERB ECR, Government of India under the supervision of Dr. Surajit Karmakar, Scientist E, Principal Investigator, Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali.
TITLE OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT:A high performance nanodelivery system for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) therapy.
NAME OF THE POSITION AVAILABLE:Junior Research Fellow.
NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: One.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Qualifications: M.Tech./M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/M.Pharm; with valid NET/GATE/ GPAT score qualification.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having experience in designing and development of nano-formulations, nanoparticles, molecular biological techniques will be preferred.
AGE LIMIT:Must not be over 28 years as on February 16, 2018 which is relaxed for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates as per government rules.
SALARY:Rs. 25000 + 10% HRA per month.
ENGAGEMENT PERIOD: Initially one year and may be extended on satisfactory performance of the candidate.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program of INST provided they satisfy eligibility criteria.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
