How does Jesus teach us? (by instruction, example, discipline, allowing consequences…)

What is Lord doing? (Jesus is calling you to Him…)

What does the Lord want to give you? (forgiveness, to set you free from the power & penalty sin’s guilt

Have we ever experienced “shame?” Talk about it.

How is revisiting our shame over and over again, like “digging holes and moving dirt” over and over again?

(it becomes a burden we carry like baggage without hope of relief/like self-made slavery…)

How does the Lordofferfreedom from shame? (bycoming to Jesus and reasoning with Him…)

How does Jesus reason with us? (Jesus dialogueswith us to establish what is true and real…)

How do we reason with Jesus? (wedialogue to help adjust our perspective to His truth which liberates us…)

What should this “reasoning” lead us to? (tounderstand, trust, confess our sins, change/repent…)

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!

Come; buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?

What can you learn from Jesus about your deepest needs?(they are more spiritual than just satisfying physical

desires; without the spiritual, everything leaves us empty and unfulfilled; there is always a spiritual need behind

the “physical need”)

How does Jesus fulfill us? (bypromising fulfillment above and beyond physical satisfaction…)
