SEED Madagascar (Formerly Azafady) is registered charity working in the UK and Madagascar, partnered in-country with various NGOs and community groups. It works on community development and conservation projects with an emphasis on training, capacity building and education, geared towards supporting communities to empower themselves and develop in sustainable ways.

Responsibilities:

-The PPC Intern will be responsible for the overall success of paid search campaigns to drive consumers to get involved in our volunteer programmethrough:

-Review, revise and restructure (as necessary) the existing account and ad campaigns.

-Plan, optimise, implement and manage paid search campaigns, on a day-to-day basis as required, to proactively drive improved performance.

-Careful optimisation of targeted ads and management of charity budget.

-Work to lower cost per click and cost per acquisition on an ongoing basis, to manage the effectiveness of our budget and reach targets.

-Focus on increasing volunteer position applications quantitatively and qualitatively to support programme growth and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

-Ensure PPC campaigns are optimised according to strategy and best practice guidelines.

-Perform keyword research and manage all keyword bidding.

-Manage PPC Keyword match types.

-Manage negative PPC keywords to ensure maximum ROI.

-Develop short and long-term paid search strategies.

-Suggest improvements in other areas of SEM, content and web development from learnings in Adwords management.

-Ensure landing pages are effectively optimised for all PPC campaigns to ensure maximum ROI and conversion rate.

-Developing and maintain a reporting framework that clearly attributes value in search marketing

-Analyse activity and performance of all paid search campaigns and report findings back to make contributions to monthly marketing reporting to be communicated to the wider organisation.

-Keep up to date with the latest industry trends.

The ideal candidate

-You’re analytical, numerate and focussed on optimising results and ROI.

-You have excellent working knowledge of Google Adwords and are preferably Adwords certified.

-You have practical knowledge of systems and processes necessary to create and optimise PPC campaigns (e.g. AdWords Editor)

-You can skilfully optimise PPC campaigns with demonstrable results of lowering cost per click and cost per acquisition, as well as increasing conversion rates.

-You’ll have competent experience managing paid search, preferably in the travel sector and/or volunteer tourism and/or charity.

-You are organisedand take responsibility with strong attention to detail.

-You have practical knowledge of tracking systems and technologies, applying best practice to ensure consistent and accurate reporting (e.g. Google Analytics)

-You effectively communicate and report plans and results.

-You’re proficient in Excel

-You’re able to work independently and remotely.

-2+ years client-side ppc marketing experience

-Willingness to support in other areas of marketing expertise an advantage.
