God S Plan of Salvation

God S Plan of Salvation

God’s Plan of Salvation

(How to be sure of Heaven)

By Pastor Kelly Sensenig

God has a plan of Salvation for your life. It's a plan He designed for you. He wants to save you from Hell and prepare you for Heaven.

The Bible Says:

The entire world of mankind has sinned. That includes you.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" ( Romans 3:23 ).

"But the scripture hath concluded all under sin" ( Galatians 3:22a ).

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one"

(Romans 3:10).

"For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and

sinneth not" ( Ecclesiastes 7:20 ).

Sin is missing the mark of God's perfection; a falling short of God's plan for your life. Sin is anything we think, say or do that displeases God and is contrary to God's Holy Word. We all have sinned as the Bible declares.

The Bible Says:

A. Your sins have separated you from God.

“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear" ( Isaiah 59:2 ).

B. Your sins have kept you in a state of spiritual death whereby

your spirit is lost spiritually and headed toward hell.

1. You are spiritually lost in sin.

"… dead in trespasses and sin" ( Ephesians 2:1 ).

2. You are sentenced to Hell while in your sin.

"For the wages of sin is death "

( separation from God in Hell -- Romans :23).

"Ye shall die in your sins" ( John 8:24 ).

"… the wrath of God abideth on him" ( John 3:36 ).

"Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the

presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power"

( II Thessalonians 1:9 )

"Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched"

( Mark 9:44, 48)

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" ( Revelation 20:15 ).

Your sins have separated you from God. They have kept you in spiritual death and sentenced you to die spiritually in the place of eternal, unending fire called Hell.

The Bible Says:

God's remedy for sin is Jesus Christ. Jesus died, was buried and arose again for each one of us.

A. Christ died for our sins.

"… Christ dies for our sins according to the scriptures" (I Corinthians 15:3)

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" ( Romans 5:8 ).

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18a ).

"… but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself" ( Hebrews 9:26b ).

" Who his own self bare our sins in his body on the tree" ( I Peter 2:24a ).

Jesus Christ became a sacrifice for your sin upon the cross. God placed all of your sin upon His only son Jesus Christ. As your sacrifice, Jesus paid for the penalty of your sin which was Hell. He also died to forgive you of all the sins which separated you from God. Through His sacrifice on the cross, you can have your sins forgiven, be rescued from Hell, and be restored to God's Favor.

B. Christ arose from the grave.

"… he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"

(I Corinthians 15:4)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" ( Romans 10:9 ).

"Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification" ( Romans 4:25 ).

Jesus Christ arose from the grave to show that God the Father accepted His offering for our sin upon the cross. Christ arose so He could give you the Salvation He provided on the cross. He is alive and wants to save you today. He can become your living, personal Savior from sin and Hell.

The Bible Says:

Jesus Christ is the only way to God and Heaven.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh

unto the Father, but by me" ( John 14:6 ).

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" ( I Timothy 2:5)

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under

heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Man can only get to God and Heaven through the Lord Jesus Christ.

No idol, person, priest, or religion will give you access or acceptance before God.

Do you believe this?

The Bible Says:

Our good deeds will never give us acceptance before God.

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6a)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5a).

"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness" (Romans 4:5).

Man has attempted to save himself from Hell and restore his favor to a Holy God by doing good works, living a good life, going to church and obeying certain commands. The Bible says all of our human works will not save us, but only God's grace and forgiveness seen in the death and resurrection of Christ.

Do you believe this?

The Bible Says:

You can have the forgiveness of sin and salvation from Hell which Christ offers to you. By a definite act of faith (belief), trust Christ to be your Savior.

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8)

"But even as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12)

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"

(Romans 10:13)

Trusting in Christ to be your Savior is expressed by the words belief, faith, receiving, or calling. These words all express the same truth.

Do you believe this?

You May Ask:

How do you exercise faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation?

How do you believe on Jesus Christ for Salvation?

Can a person really know when they have believed on Jesus Christ for Salvation?

The answers to these questions are simple. Trusting Jesus means that you believe He will do what He has promised. He will save you. You must simply place faith (belief) in Christ as you would place faith in a doctor, dentist or lawyer.

The difference with belief in Jesus Christ is that Christ is the only person who can save you. For salvation from Hell, we must place our faith in the right person and object.

Have you ever placed faith in Jesus Christ to save you?

There must be a definite place and definite time when you truly do believe on Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

There was a definite place and time when we were born into this world, or married. Likewise, there is to be a definite time when we believe on Jesus Christ to save us.

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (II Corinthians 6:2b)

Would you like to believe on Jesus Christ today for the forgiveness of your sins and salvation from Hell?

Here's a prayer you can pray in your own heart. It will help you in your decision to receive Christ as your Savior from Hell.

Prayer:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. My sins have separated me from God. I am lost and doomed for Hell. I believe You died for my sin. I Believe You arose from the grave in order to give me Salvation today. I now receive You, Lord Jesus Christ, as my personal Savior from sin and Hell. In simple faith, I ask you to save me. I believe on You. Amen."

Did you pray this prayer?

If you prayed this prayer with understanding and sincerity, God has promised to save you.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"

(Romans 10:13)

Now the Bible Says:

A. Christ lives within you.

"… Christ in you the hope of glory" ( Colossians 1:27 ).

B. Christ has forgiven you of all your sins.

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins" ( Colossians 1:14 ).

C. Christ has made you His child.

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" ( John 1:12 ).

D. Christ has given you eternal life.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life" ( John 6:47 ).

"The gift of God (Salvation) is eternal life" ( Romans 6:23b).
