Click on “Our School”

Click on “Revere High School”

Click on the “IRC/Library” link

Click on “Virtual Library” link (to the left)

Click on link to enter library (toward center)

Follow below directions to access the listed databases

Student Resources in Context

Click on “Student Resources in Context” button

Find the Biography section and click on “View All” to the right

Search to see if your person is listed. If your person is listed, click on person’s name.

Find sources in the portal pertaining to the person.

If your person is not listed under “View All”, type your person’s name (using the format: Last

Name, First Name) into the search field at the top right of the page.

Peruse the search results to find sources on your person.

Biography Reference Bank

Return to the Virtual Library. (Either click on the Gale Resource tab at the top of your screen OR

follow the directions at the top of the page.)

Scroll down and click on the “INFOhio” button. (It’s the last button on the left).

Click on “9-12”.

Click on “Biography Reference Bank”

Type in your person’s name (again in the format: Last name, First name).

Peruse results to find sources for your person.

Return to the Virtual Library. (Either click on the Gale Resource tab at the top of your screen OR

Scroll down and click on the “INFOhio” button. (It’s the last button on the left).

Click on 9-12.

Click on “Exlpora for Grades 9-12 (Ebsco)”.

Find the Biography section and click on “More” link at the end of the list of names

Find sources in the portal pertaining to the person.

If your person is not listed under “More”, type your person’s name (using the format: Last

Name, First Name) into the search field at the top of the page.

Peruse the search results to find sources on your person.

Keep in mind, that the above databases should be useful for most of your searches. However, there are several other databases you can access in the virtual library and in INFOhio. Don’t hesitate to try other databases to help you get the information you need.
