This project hopes to address the issue of air quality and pollution in the following communities:
-Mexicali: factories, burning of residential waste, and car emissions
-China: factories, car emissions, and
burning coal(heating) / Raise awareness about the importance of taking care of the environment by reducing emissions and adopting to given alternatives to lower air pollution and increase air quality
Activities (objectives):
How the project will achieve your goals / Collaborators: What groups are important in the development and implementation of the project? (within the organization)
-Growing and planting of trees and other native plantsas part of carbon reduction and improvement of air quality
-Presentations on how air pollution affects cities with the hopes of crossing the boundaries that exist to cause change and increasing the level of individual engagement
-Promoting and launching a carpooling program resulting in a reduction in the amount of car emissions and their impact on air quality. / -Administrative support

-Local nurseries and cooperatives to get saplings of trees / The implementation phase of this project is projected to be one year. The extension and ongoing nature of this project is undetermined at this point it is intended to be passed from one generation to next generation between the IB students of the school.

BUDGET =$ 150 / -Create a Facebook page.
-Create an Instagram account
-Create a hash tag ( #savetheaireverywhere ) and each time a tree is plant the person is posting the picture with the hashtag.
Evaluation: How you will measure success? What challenges would you have to overcome as a result of implementing this in the real world?
Challenges:
-Getting permits to plant
-Fitting plants for different areas
-Getting the world out there / promoting
Success:
-Measured by the number of trees planted and the number of individuals involved
-The continuation of the program for multiple years
-Measurement of air quality and pollution level in the affected areas
