Dear Parents / Carers,
The Choir Summer Showcase – Friday 7th July 2017
To celebrate the end of term and to showcase the talents of our school choir this year, we are going to hold a concert for parents in the school hall on Friday 7th July. Due to the number of children in the choir there will be 2 performances:
Performance 1 : 2.00pm
Performance 2 : 4.00pm (after school)
Please note the following important information:
- There is a limit to 2 tickets per child
- Please decide which performance you will attend – we cannot accommodate you coming to both due to the limitations of space in the hallas we can only seat 100 people safely.
- The performance should last approx. 1 hour
- Children will remain at school from 3.30pm to allow them to perform again at 4.00pm – we will provide refreshments for them in this intervening period.
- We must have your consent for your child to take part in the 4.00pm performance, even if you are unable to attend yourself.
- Please provide a pair of black leggings for your child to change in to for the performance; we do have a number in school so please indicate if you would like us to provide a pair. We will provide the Choir t-shirts.
PLEASE NOTE: Choir practice next week has MOVED to Wednesday 5th July due to the Summer Fair on Thursday 6th .
To get an idea of the numbers attending each performance, can we request you return the permission slip/ticket order printed over-page NO LATER than Tuesday 4th July. If it looks like there will be spare tickets for either performance we will let parents know and we will issue them on a first come/first served basis.

This promises to be a lovely way to end the school year – Mrs Lazenby and Miss Anderson have worked very hard developing the choir this year and we hope our Year 3, 4 and 5 children will continue their involvement as they move on through school.
