RE: Hearing Panel Forms
Dear South Florida United Members,
Attached to this letter is the form for Hearing and Protest panel members. Each club is required to submit two (2) names, along with vital contact information of interested person(s) to serve on these committees. These forms must be submitted by October 21st., at the next coaches meeting. They can be given to me in person or faxed to 305-704-3811 or email .
Requirements to serve on the Hearing and Protest Committees-
- The panel member club must be in “Good standings” and have good moral character.
- The panel must be able to fairly, impartially rule and make decisions without prejudices or benefiting from such ruling by the board.
- Must be able type clearly, write reports accurately and concisely.
The procedures are each member will be randomly picked to serve on such committee. Upon the appointment and acceptance of serving on the hearing panel, each person(s) will be contacted accordingly and abreast of the issue(s). Each panel member will be given a date, time and location of when the hearing will occur. Upon hearing the complaint by the respective parties a decision must be rendered and an written report submitted to the Vice President of Rules within a seven (7) day period of the conclusion of the hearing.
Each respected member will be expected to serve on the Hearing and/or Protest Committees at least once throughout the season. Some members will be asked to serve more then once within the season depending on the volume of hearings and protest being held.
