Fresh Start Women S Foundation Was Recently Awarded the Prestigious Four-Star Rating By

I am an active member of the Fresh Start Men’s Board and on Friday, November 6, 2015, with our title sponsor Valley Toyota Dealers, we proudly present the 21st annual Charity Golf Classic, one of Arizona’s largest non-celebrity charity golf tournaments. The golf tournament is a major fundraising event benefitting the life-changing programs and services at Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.

Our generous partners at Kierland Golf Club will host the event. While enjoying a day of golf, each team member will have opportunities to win a new vehicle provided by Valley Toyota Dealers via (12) Par 3 hole-in-one. Participants will be provided delicious food and beverages on the course and after a fun day of golf and on-course competitions, everyone can relax and enjoy the awards banquet barbeque and an energetic live auction.

Fresh Start Women’s Foundation was recently awarded the prestigious four-star rating by Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities. The rating signifies good governance, sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. Fresh Start Women’s Foundation is one of the select few Arizona non-profit organizations with such a high rating.

Our goal is to raise $375,000; during our last event we raised $354,000 and 82 percent of every dollar raised directly serves the clients at Fresh Start.

Last year, Fresh Start welcomed more than 22,000 visits and serves women from all walks of life, providing resources in the areas of economic self-sufficiency, education and personal development. It’s Fresh Start’s mission to empower women to transform their lives through education and engagement.
