forUndergraduates(REU)Program
Full-timeresearchopportunitiesawaitFAUundergraduatestudentsthissummer(May14–July20,2018).Theseareexcitingandonce-in-a-lifetimechancestoperformresearchinsophisticatedneuroscienceandbehavior-orientedlabswhileexpandingyourscientificexpertise.Severallabs,includingthoseofDrs.KenDawson-Scully,TanjaGodenschwege,KailiangJia,GregMacleod,RodMurphey,BobStackman,AlexKeene,RandyBlakely,LuciaCarvelli,andEricDuboué(amongothers)areseekingundergraduatestudentsthis summer to performresearchfocusedonneuroscienceandbehavior.
Thesuccessfulundergraduatecandidateswillworkfull-timeinthelabandwillattendweeklymentoringsessionswithfellowprogramparticipantsandcoordinatorDr.CathyTrivigno.Studentsoftencompleteathesisthroughtheprogram.Theprogramrunsfull-timeduringthesummer,withtheoptionofcontinuingresearchintotheacademicyear.Asummerstipendisincluded.
