Rationale (why this is an effective additional assignment):
It is an effective alternative because it would be a number of articles and would cover the whole trial and not just a portion of it.

Rationale (why this is an effective additional assignment):
The original assignment was to list the character traits and examples of where they were shown in the play for one character. This proposed assignment is similar to the original assignment and is also more work, even though specific examples and excerpts from the text will not be used.

I would like to create a presentation reviewing the Cask of Amontillado. The project will display different ideas of the selection. I would like to also incorporate the vocabulary words we have been studying into my presentation and show how they are related. I will use examples from the text to show and describe the mood (teacher’s inclusion: flashback, foreshadowing, irony, suspense). I plan to use pictures/clips of plays to show how versatile the story is.
Rationale (why this is an effective additional assignment):
This is an effective alternate because we have been spending some time discussing the Cask of Amontillado and the vocabulary. I think this would be a really good way to show what I have learned and to help improve my grade.
