Housing Information

There are five residence halls in Keimyung’s Myungkyo Residential area, which can accommodate 1,800 students in 900 rooms. All the dormitory rooms are double occupancy except International Learning & Residence Hall for male students and roommates are matched randomly. The male students who stay in International Learning & Residence Hall will use the room with two other students.

Thehall has full time live-in staff (native speakers) and assistants to help make your stay pleasant.

General halls

These halls are mostly occupied by Korean students and there is no second language requirement.

International learning & residence hall

This is the newest dormitory of the residence area. It is equipped with a bathroom in each room, air-conditioning, and a fitness center in the building. The fee is higher than the other residence halls.

You may choose a residence hall according to your preference. If you have no preference, you will be placed in the KELI House which is popular among exchange students. We cannot guarantee your housing choice, but will do our best to fulfill your wishes.

Room

 Each room has beds, desks with lamp, chairs, a closet and an air conditioner.

* Smoking and drinking are not permitted inside the dormitory.

 Telephone service is limited at the dormitory room. It is free to receive calls and to make phone calls to the other dormitory rooms and the offices in the campus. However, you should use public phone for local, distance and international calls.

 LAN connection is available on an application basis.

During the summer and winter vacations, you can stay at the dormitory with extra cost, which will be informed at the end of each semester. To facilitate cleaning and security, you may be required to move to the designated hall during the vacation period.
