About this form

This form is to help you submit a request for information under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 [“the regulations”].

Requests made under the regulations may be made verbally, but it will help Link deal with your request if it is made or confirmed in writing.

Please clearly state on the form the information you require. Link charges a fee for providing information under the regulations and a tariff of charges is set out below. Once we have received your request, Link will estimate the cost of providing the information and issue an invoice which must be paid in advance of the information being collated. The 20 working day timescale will begin once your payment has been received.

Tariff of charges

Staff costs for searching for the information requests and assembling into an appropriate format are charged at the following hourly rates:

Situations where the fee may be waived

Link may choose to waive the fee if it is satisfied that there is a genuine and widespread interest in the publication of the information
Link will waive the fee if it would be uneconomical to issue a fee notice and process the payment
