Congratulations to the 5thgrade Math Team and Mrs. Patel for their 4thplace finish in Eastgate’s first (at least in a long time) math competition!
22 5thgrade students competed in the “Math is Great” competition on Friday, March 10thin a competition that spanned individual tests, group problem solving and even a group game show round! See more on the school website.

Reimagining School Supplies

As part of the discussions about the PTA surplus money there were a lot of discussions around how to change the beginning of the year school supply request to be easier for parents, more equitable for students, and get the supplies that teachers need. If you are interested in being part of the committee to recommend and implement changes, please y March 24th.

Yearbooks are still available for purchase, however, the pre-sale prices are gone! Yearbook Prices have gone up from $17 for soft and $20 for hard cover to $20 for soft and $23 for hard cover.

TALENT SHOW 2017

There is always a bit of everything...singing, dancing, skits, piano, violin, jokes and more!The 2016-17 Talent Show will be March 31st at 6:30 pm. PLEASE NOTE START TIME CHANGE TO 6:30 PM
Entries to participate in the Talent Show are now closed!
Recess Rehearsals will be every day starting March 14 though Tuesday, March 28th.
Performers must attend at least one of these lunch rehearsals as well as the Dress Rehearsal after school on Wednesday, March 29th after schoolto be eligible to perform at the show.
VOLUNTEERS are needed! this event takes many volunteers to make happen! Please sign up HERE

BSF Spring for Schools

The Spring for Schools Luncheon is onFriday March 24thfrom11am to 1:15pmat the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
This is a fun event with heartfelt and moving stories from students about their experiences in the Bellevue School District that were positively impacted by the help of the Bellevue Schools Foundation. You’ll also learn why community investment is the only way our district can continue to offer a world-class education to every child, every day. It is a great opportunity to see and advocate in our community and the enrichment of our children and our future!
