Order Replication

/ You can replicate an existing order to use for new order creation in EASE VFO. The order that you replicate (copy) is for a one time use. If you want to make a shell order for use on a go forward basis, you would create a template and not replicate an existing order.
Take the following steps to replicate an existing order in EASE VFO.
Step / Action
1 / Search for an order that is the same type of service as the order you want to create—for example, if you want to create anAB - Loop order, you must replicate an AB – Looporder.
Result: If the search is successful, the order that you searched for displays in the Order List.
Note: Refer to the EASE VFO Order Tab Search document for instructions on how to search for an order in EASE VFO.
2 / Use the following table to determine the next step.
If / Then
You want to replicate the order from the Order List screen /

Click the radio button next to the order you want to replicate.
Select Save As Order from the Order tab menu.
Proceed to step 3.

You want to view the order and then replicate /

Click the PON of the order you want to replicate

Result: The order is displayed in a new window.

Select Save As Order from the Action sub-menu of the Order tab.
Proceed to step 3.

Result: The screen changes to the Save as New Order screen.

3 / Type a new PON in the Order Number field.
Note:The Managed ESP field is pre-populated with your ESP and you cannot change it.
4 / Select the proper OCN for your replicated order from the OCN drop-down.
Note: The version field is pre-populated.

5 / Use the following table to determine the next step.
If / Then
You are ready to create the order / Click the Save button and proceed to step 6.
Result: The order is replicated and the new order displays.
You are not ready to create the order / Click the Cancel button and do not proceed to step 9.
Result: The order is not replicated and the screen returns to the previous screen of either the Order List or the order.
6 / Enter all pertinent fields and submit the order to CENTURYLINK.
