15-221MEETINGS

Parish Clerk / The Clerk attended the meeting of the West Yorkshire branch of the SLCC. It was agreed that the Clerk should attend the SLCC conference for the day on 10 June at no cost to the Parish Council (as a delegate of the West Yorkshire branch who will fund the day). The Clerk explained the planned changes with SLCC in regard to a union for Clerk’s in addition to the existing SLCC services.

15-222 CORRESPONDENCE FOR NOTE

RESOLVED to note the following correspondence to note:

Barnsley MBC – Police and crime commissioners election notices – Clerk will display these on the notice boards in Silkstone and Silkstone Common
HSBC Bank regarding inactivity in Twinning bank accounts. Clerk has spoken with the bank and with the agreement of the signatories has closed the savings account and kept open the community account.
Resident e-mail to Chairman regarding increase in precept -
Graham Wells of CARE regarding work completed by CARE in Nabs wood (managed by woodland trust) noted with thanks.
