Organization and membership

Organization:

The KWF has two ways of membership:

1. KWF Country Representative (Europe only)

2. KWF Representative

Each European Country is headed by only one Country Representative.

All other Countries can have one or more KWF Representatives.

Organizational Membership Fees:

Each Karate Organization or Dojo Operator applying for KWF membership registration must pay:

Affiliation fee for entry into KWF: Euro 150,-

Affiliation fee for the consecutive years:Euro 100,-/ year

Individual Worldwide Life time Memberships:

All members within the KWF must be registered in his / hers country.

KWF Worldwide membership fees are:

KWF Membership card Euro 2,- and KWF Passport Euro 6,-

The above prices are net and the sales prices in your country are decided by your Organization.

The postage with ordinary mail is free.

The postage with DHL or similar is a separate cost.

Full membership:

To obtain full membership in KWF the following fees apply.

  • KWF affiliation fee for your club or organization
  • At least 50 membership cards and passports for your students/members

KWF Kyu and Dan examinations:

All (Country) Representatives are free to take examinations for all Kyu degrees.

The (Country) Representatives can organize once a year a KWF Black belt examination. The level of the examination depends of his / hers own KWF rank.

  • A San-Dan (Country) Representative can organize Sho-dan examinations.
  • A Yon-Dan (Country) Representative can organize Sho and Ni-Dan examinations.
  • A Go-Dan (Country) Representative can organize Sho, Ni and San-Dan examinations.

* All higher,then San-Dan Examinations, have to be led by a KWF designated examiner.

Total fee for all Dan examinations, including belt and certificate, is:

Euro 200,- for each dan grade. From Sho-Dan and up.

This includes the official KWF certificate and belt with Japanese embroidery.

The (Country) Representative can take maximum 50, - Euro for each Dan examination.

For the students the total price for a Dan examination is the KWF fee + Euro 50,-.

Whenever a candidate will fail he / she will get back 150, - Euro.
