Apple 1:1 Education Event – May 24, 5-6 pm Student Life Center

The Apple Education Team will be visiting Cathedral High School on May 24 to promote 1:1 computing in which each student would have their own personal computing device for learning at Cathedral starting in 2012. Whether it be an Apple laptop or iPad, the discussion will be what is best for students to learn.

Our special guest will be Chad Reynolds, Development Executive for Apple and part of Central team. Chad was a high school and elementary physical education teacher for 8 years in Gahanna. He was then an elementary school principal for a combined twelve years between Westerville and Gahanna. He then moved on to the Olentangy School District where he served as a middle school principal at a school with an enrollment of 900 students. Chad has served on the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators for five years and has represented OAESA to the National Association of Elementary School Principals.

Kelli Kerns, Apple Educational representative and Eric Wheetley, Apple Solutions Engineer, will also be joining us in this discussion.

The Apple Education team will be speaking with Faculty, Staff, and students from 3-4:00 pm followed by parents from 5-6 pm. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
