1．Introduction
This is a stylish E-wheelchair intelligent controller with innovative design. It allows users to move the wheelchair in any direction(360°) smoothly and freely by operating the control panel and the joystick. This control system adopts programmable computer chip as the main controller, driving 2 brushed DC motor turn in different speed and direction, in order to achieve the wheelchair movement in any directions. This makes the users feel perfectly the power from finger controlling. The operation of IM-50A E-wheelchair intelligent controller is very simple, and easy to grasp. Please read carefully, it will help you correctly use to ensure the reliability and safety of the E-wheelchair.

2. 2 Avoid colliding the controller, especially the joystick. Using it carefully, do not let other obstacle collide the controller and joystick. Make sure the controller system avoids collisions when shipping, and do not pull the cables in case damages.
2. 3 The electronic components are assembled by industrial parts and then ageing treated after carefully testing, to ensure that E-wheelchair work normally in various conditions. But if you can avoid using it in extremely conditions, the reliability of the controller can be improved. Do not let the control system water sprayed or use it in wet environment.

3．1 Buttons Functions
When “Power on” button pressed, the power of controller is turned on, and the “Battery Indicator” “Speed Grade Show” light is light up. When “Power off” pressed, the power of controller is turned off. Press “Speed up” or “Speed down” buttons to adjust the wheelchair velocity. Press “Horn” button, the speaker will sound. Do not press “Power off” to stop the motor rotation, otherwise, the drive components life may be shorten.
3．2“Battery Display” light means the wheelchair is power on, the more light, the fuller is the battery.
3．3“Speed Grade Show” total 5 grades. All light means the most quickly. The less lights, the lower is the speed. Meanwhile, if the lights flicking, there is something wrong with the controller.
3．4Control Panel Speed Indicate Lamps Blinking Instructions：
If above occur, please check the corresponding connectors and the cables, then corresponding parts.
Estimation of wheelchair power supply (battery): The window is composed by 7 LEDs, 3 green, 3 yellow and 2 red. When the battery is fully charged, all 7 lights bright, with the reduction of the battery power, the lights will be off one by one. At last, only the red lights keep bright which indicates battery power is insufficient. Meanwhile, NO.1 lamp of “Speed Grade Show” flicking, remind you to charge the battery.
** Friendly Alert: If the battery is short of power, do not use the wheelchair, or it may lead users to unsafe situation, such as a central stop on the road. Our company does not undertake any responsibility for the losses caused by failure to comply this provision.
4．Battery Charging
To charge the battery, put the charger plug into the charging socket of the wheelchair controller. Do not drive the wheelchair when charging.
** Friendly Alert 1: Make sure the polarity of the controller socket correctly connected with the charger. Otherwise, it may cause fire or burns. Our company does not undertake any responsibility for the losses caused by failure to comply this provision.
** Friendly Alert 2: To charge the battery withmatched charger for wheelchair. Inappropriate charger may cause damages to battery, controller or the charger, and may cause the parts overheat, leading to fires or burns. Our company does not undertake any responsibility for the losses caused by failure to comply this provision.
5．Programming
If you find the wheelchair could not reach its maximum speed, or are not satisfied with the hardness of start and stop, you can program the controller to meet your requirements. Programming can be finished with specific ZD-BCQ programmer, which is produced by our company. ZD-BCQ is a hand held electronic device, which can change certain parameters of the controller after linked with it. Your wheelchair manufacturer can program parameters for your wheelchair according to your requirements.
If you have a ZD-BCQ, please read the instruction carefully before using it.
If you want to re-program the controller, be sure to comply any request in “Wheelchair Manual”, and record the parameters you have changed for future reference.

7．Programming Device Guide
If you find the wheelchair could not reach its maximum speed, or are not satisfied with the hardness of start and stop, you can program the controller to meet your requirements. Programming can be finished with specific SC208 programmer, which is produced by our company. SC208 is a hand held electronic device, which can change certain parameters of the controller after linked with it. Your wheelchair manufacturer can program parameters for your wheelchair according to your requirements. Please make sure to comply with all the following request, and record the parameters you have changed for future reference.

7．1 Outlook and functions of Set Editor
7．1．1 Set Editor Appearance:
Set Editor has four buttons:
1．Up , Adjust upward the value, once click, value increase one
2．Down，Adjust downward the value, once click, value decrease one
3．Switch Key , Switch selection
4．OK key , Save the parameters set
7．2 Change the parameters of a brushless E-bike with set editor.
Turn off the power of brushless controller, then put one connector of the cable to the aviation plug, the other connector of the cable to the programming port of controller (charging port). Turn on the power of controller after connecting successfully.
Set editor screen displayed in order from 0~9, and then NO.1 menu appeared. For example, if 1.1 showed, left of the dot is menu option, and right is parameter value.Meanwhile, the menu option blinking, press Switch Key can exchange the position between menu option and parameter value. Press Up or Down buttons to change the parameter value, then press OK key to save the value or press Switch Key to menu option if no need to save the value.
Turn off the power of the controller after setting it and then disconnect the cables.
7．3 Menu options instruction, 15 options total :
NO.1: Acceleration
The procedure of adjusting the speed of E-bike from slow to fast, range are 1~5 ranks, the bigger the value, the faster the acceleration.
NO.2: Deceleration
The procedure of adjusting the speed of E-bike from fast to slow, range are 1~5 ranks, the bigger the value, the faster the deceleration.
NO.3: Steering Acceleration
The procedure of adjusting the steering speed of E-bike from slow to fast, range are 1~5 ranks, the bigger the value, the faster the steering acceleration.
NO.4: Steering Deceleration:
The procedure of adjusting the steering speed of E-bike from fast to slow, range are 1~5 ranks, the bigger the value, the faster the steering deceleration.
NO.5: Voltage Shortage Value:
Adjust the protection value when the battery under-voltage, ranges from 1~5 Ranks, rank3 is 21V for 24V controller, each rank interval 2V, the bigger the value, the higher the voltage value.
NO.6: Reversing Speed
Adjust the MAX speed of the E-Wheelchair when reversing, ranges from 1~5 ranks, the bigger the value, the faster the reverse.
NO.7: MAX. Speed
Adjust the maximum forward speed of E-wheelchair, ranges from 1~20 ranks, the bigger the value, the faster maximum speed.
NO. 8: Reversing Beep:
Adjust whether beep warning when E-wheelchair reversing, ranges from 0~1, 0 means no warning beep, 1 means have warning beep.
NO.9: Electromagnetic Brake Options
Set whether need electromagnetic brake when driving the E-wheelchair, ranges from 0~1, 0 is available to drive the wheelchair withoutit, 1 is only available to drive with electromagnetic brake device, if no such device, it will be warning and prohibit driving.
NO.10: Controller Automatically Shutdown Time
To save energy of the battery, when the driver does not use the E-wheelchair and forgot to turn off the power exceeds a certain time, the controller will power off by itself. The automatically shutdown time can be set from range 1-5 ranks, each rank 10 minutes(For example, rank3 is 30 minutes to power off automatically).
NO. 11: Adjust the error of left motor (0: original state; 1-20: gradually slow)
NO.12: Adjust the error of right motor (0: original state; 1-20: gradually slow)
NO.13: Direction of left motor rotation (1: positive direction; 0: reverse direction)
NO.14: Direction of right motor rotation (1: positive direction; 0: reverse direction)
NO.15: Electromagnetic brake delay releasing time setting (0: 0.5 sec; 1: 1sec.; 2: 1.5sec. 3: 2sec. 4:2.5sec. 5: 3 sec.)
NO.16: Turning (left or right) top speed limit setting, ranges 1-5 ranks.
7.4 Cautions
