Thursday, August 6 (Homeroom)

7:45 – 8:45 Procedures for Morning Meeting, lockers, turning in papers, and submitting lunch choice (by table numbers to practice lunch choices)

First day of school pictures while students fill out sheet about their favorite things (procedures for supplies and sharpening pencils)

8:45 – 9:45 Students share one thing about themselves from their favorites sheet, answer questions about how well they know their teacher, share slideshow about myself (procedures for lights on and off)

9:45 – 10:00 Talk about emergency procedures (fire drill, lockdown drill, and tornado drill)

7:45 – 8:50 Reading A – Read “Not Your Typical Dragon,” talk about how Crispin felt in the book and about how what we say and what we do can hurt other people, make a wrinkled heart (procedures for supplies), students introduce themselves using sheet from my homeroom class from the day before) and my homeroom students introduce me to Well’s homeroom students
