Please clarify the extent to which sensitisation and consultation has taken place with enterprises and stakeholders prior to the skills audit and assessments / Stakeholders’ consultation has been done by AgriSETA and appointment of providers will be introduced to stakeholders in the respective provinces.
In the pricing schedules from page 47, 48 and 49 section 3.1.1 person and position. The column entitled hourly rate exclude vat refers to the hourly rate of the person carrying out the work? The next column says cost/person/phase excluding vat (hourly rate. Is this the same as the previous column? / Yes it is the same. At the second column provision is made for the VAT to be added at the end.
Do we decide which cluster we wish to tender on or are they awarded to the providers? / The Terms of reference indicates the following: “A list of the clusters and provinces is attached and service providers are restricted to quote for not more than two clusters”
Providers are requested to identify and note the clusters they are proposing for in the proposal to be submitted. Please refer to cluster list attached
Assumption of 250 learners per cluster / Assumption incorrect. Learners per cluster cannot be specified however the total of 1250 learners is estimated for all the clusters.
Some research on the project indicate beneficiaries and employees. Is this project focused on the beneficiaries or the employees. For example one project has 250 beneficiaries but only 25 employees. / In most cases the employees are in fact beneficiaries. Our focus is mainly at enterprise level and at governance level.
Please clarify if we are to include costs to attend Agriseta workshop on the use of the standard tools to be provided by Seta. / Yes, costs to attend the workshop to be held in Pretoria should be included.
Is it possible to get some detail on the tools to be supplied? For example are they written questionnaires or interviews? / The tools are more of questionnaires, however the methodology used to source information is what the service providers should also indicate when responding to the bid.
