1)  Interpretive Communication: Print Texts (Reading comprehension)

Directions for these exercises can be found on pp. 2-4

Have students do the following activities (10 minutes/activity):

Actividad 7 pp. 17-19

Actividad 11 pp. 26-28

Give 10 minutes per activity to read/answer questions

2)  Interpretive Communication: Audio Texts (Listening comprehension)

Directions for these exercises can be found on pp. 163-164

Have students do the following activities (10 minutes/activity):

Actividad 8 p. 172

Actividad 15 p. 179

Students have 1 minute to read directions, then play audio 2 times. Students have 15 seconds per question to answer

Go over answers to both the print and the audio texts and discuss

1)  Interpersonal Writing: Email Reply

Directions for these exercises can be found on pp. 189-191

Have students do the following activity:

Give 15 minutes to read the email and write an email in reply

2)  Presentational Writing: Persuasive Essay

Have students do the following activity:

Students have 6 minutes to read, then play the audio 2 times (source 3). Students have 40 minutes to prepare/write.
