need to hear of His great love for us.

His Mercy goes on through everything

and His love will last forever.

each one of His children –

Shout to the world . . .

Proclaim His salvation . . .

Day after day.

Happy Easter!

Father, we praise You for Salvation! We praise You for Mercy and Grace because of Easter. May we proclaim Your salvation every day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DAY 2:

[THANKSGIVING]

1 John 2:1-2 (NASB) My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Heavenly Father, we Thank You for this great promise in Christ: when we sin, we have an Advocate – the One who pleads our case before Holy God. Thank You that our Advocate is the Propitiator – the One Who removes the wrath of God against sinners – on our behalf. Thank You that Jesus died once and for all and continues to plead our case on the basis of what was done on the cross. We give thanks for our right standing before You. And we pray to spread this Good News to the whole world. In the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

DAY 3:

[CONFESSION]

Psalm 51:2, 10, 12 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Father, we agree with You that we are sinners full of iniquity and in need of Your cleansing. We are motivated by pride and a mind-set that we have to do everything for ourselves and by ourselves. Create a pure heart in us; one that seeks You and lives for You. Restore to us the joy of our salvation. Grant us a willing spirit that is bowed low before You, Almighty God. Let us be sustained by You, not our own efforts. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

DAY 4:

[INTERCESSION]

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Father God, may President Trump, Vice President Pence, members of Congress, and our Supreme Court of America submit to You. Your Word declares that Jesus is life and without Jesus there is eternal death. May each leader in America depend on Jesus for personal salvation. May each leader in America seek to know Your Word to live a life of faith and confidence in You to do their job. May they be surrounded by godly examples of faith and hope that speak Your Truth. Protect and guard their marriages and family relationships. Let America’s leadership be known as people of Life in Jesus. In the Powerful Name of Jesus, Amen.

DAY 5:

[INTERCESSION]

Luke 10:36-37 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Father, may each one at Grace Christian Fellowship purpose to have mercy toward our neighbors. Maybe it’s someone from the Campbell Street area, or someone in the grocery store, or a small child that we encounter; but give us compassion to reach out in love to perform deeds of mercy. Help us to love in both deeds and words. Help us to be willing to get our hands dirty and to spend our time and money. Help us be good neighbors. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

WEEKEND PRAYER FOR OUR PASTOR:

"No man can do me a truer kindness in this world than to pray for me."~Charles Spurgeon

Colossians 1:3-4,9 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people… We have not stopped praying for you.

Scripture prayer for the consistent prayers of Grace for the consistent faith of our pastor, using Colossians 1:9-12:

Father, may the prayers of Your people be consistent for our pastor, David, for whom we pray today, asking that You would fill him continually with the knowledge of Your will through all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that he may live a life worthy of You and please You in every way:

  • bearing fruit in every good work,
  • growing in the knowledge of You,
  • being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might,
  • having great endurance and patience, and
  • joyfully giving thanks to You.

To You, Who has qualified him to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light, we offer our prayers. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
