JOB TITLE:CHANGE COACH MANAGER

This position is funded by the european social fund

SALARY/GRADE: £24,000 - £28,000

HOURS:37.5 per week

Summary of post

This role will manage our ‘Swap Shop’ Hub in St Austell and will co-ordinate CN4C’s delivery of BBO Positive People programme. As Centre Manger you will have oversight of all aspects of the facility and manage the staff who run it. As programme lead you will be responsible for engaging eligible individuals, provide an initial assessment and manage the journey of the participant through the Programme, involving that person at every stage and utilising other resources as necessary.

The post holder will be a robust and confident professional, experienced in managing competing demands. You will enjoy working with and be able to communicate with a very broad range of people. You will lead your team in maintaining a culture of inclusivity and high quality and safe environment for all Centre Users. You will possess excellent administrative and organisation skills, excellent knowledge of business management and preferably hold an adult teaching or advice and guidance qualification.

Key responsibilities

This critical post will work holistically with participants at the centre of local provision, with providers and services around them, to ensure a personalised programme for each individual and ensuring appropriate progression is achieved.

Main Tasks

Centre Manager

  • Responsible for the overall management of the premises and its assets
  • To maintain a healthy and safe environment for all, carrying out and annual H&S audit and creating an action plan
  • To manage a team of support staff and associated contracts and to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively
  • Oversight of lease documentation for the premises and manage the timely renewal of the said leases
  • Oversight of premises asset register
  • Responsible for maintaining and renewing insurance and administering any claim
  • Management of The Centre income and expenditure budget
  • Lead marketing of Swap Shop Hub services, ensuring that the corporate image is further developed and maintained

Change Coach

  • To engage with participant and keep engaged on programme
  • To ensure the participant is eligible and appropriate for the programme.
  • To undertake and maintain an agreed training package as and when appropriate i.e.
  • Safeguarding and domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental ill health etc
  • To provide quality IAG and support services to the participant
  • To assess individuals’ current position/skills/needs against an agreed impact measurement tool that is both best for the individual and evidences the programme outcomes.
  • To develop action plans, agree interventions and milestones to achieve project outcomes.
  • To help participant with claims, travel, childcare etc
  • To 'procure' the activity to be delivered from a range of providers
  • To maintain support during delivery to ensure participant is on programme/engaged
  • To carry out regular (monthly) reviews
  • To ensure that participant progress forms are up to date and accurate.
  • To ensure that the participant is progressing towards outcomes and/or results
  • To maintain knowledge of provision available through the partnership
  • To have knowledge of and liaise with relevant agencies and provision i.e. TfF, mainstream SFA, Headstart etc
  • Support participant to complete all record/paperwork
  • Support participant into employment/volunteering/training and post progression support.
  • To attend project meetings and share best practice
  • Carry out exit interview with participants
  • Undertake other duties, commensurate with the grade, in relation to a post of this nature.
  • Must work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Education
Qualification /
