FLOOR HOCKEY
Floor hockey was introduced in the US in 1960 and grew out of the outdoor sport of Ice Hockey. Because the game is simple, safe, and emphasizes alertness and movement rather than strength or height, it can be played with success and enjoyment by almost anyone. There is no standard playing area, so any indoor area can be used. It is recommended for the safety of the goalie that the goal crease (box) be 4 feet from each side of the goal and 5 feet from the front of the goal. (Full Court = FC & Twin Rinks = TR)
