Center Update:
So far this year, the center has had 633 center appointments! We also have had an increase in the number of walk-ins and requests for pregnancy tests. Three more babies are due in the next few months and healing has occurred for a woman who attended our post-abortion healing program. Currently, we are seeing 78 mothers and 5 fathers for on-going parenting counseling in our “Earn While You Learn Program.” We have also been busy providing young people with practical strategies for goal-setting, decision-making, setting safe limits for physical affection, and resisting peer pressure while the benefits of abstinence until marriage are examined.
We see this influx of clients as an answer to prayer and we rejoice over it!
We are grateful to report that many abortion-minded women and girls who visit Summit Life change their minds and choose life for their baby. One client came to us this month determined to have an abortion, but after speaking with one of our volunteers and finding out about the support Summit Life offers, she chose life! That’s the difference that your support is making!
We just wrapped up our “Change for Life” baby bottle drive and we are working hard on our Fall, 2014 Fundraising Banquet. Our theme this year is “Together for Life” and features keynote speaker, Priests for Life's very own Fr. Frank Pavone. We are very excited to have him speak! This night promises to be inspiring and up-lifting!

Baby Shower – Thank you! SLOC was blessed to have two baby showers thrown in our honor for the month of May. They came at just the right time. The first was from the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
The second baby shower was from the Cristoforo Colombo Society. We feel very blessed by the generosity of all who attended these two showers! Thank you for the many wonderful gifts!
