Men’s Game of the Week – Mantua vs. Wildcats (A League)

In a thrilling game, the undefeated Mantua took on the 1-loss Wildcats in a great A League game. The game was neck and neck throughout but in the end, the Wildcats escaped with a 54 to 53 win, sending the Mantua to their first loss and causing the 1972 Miami Dolphins to pop some champagne. The Wildcats were led by White who had 19 and Rovinsky who had 14. The Mantua were led by Sharman’s 24 and Silkowitz’s 12.

Ladies Game of the Week – B Team vs. Goddesses

The B team got all they could handle from the 1-4 Goddesses before winning 33-31. Adams led the way with 12 points and Stensrud chipped in with 9. Mia Peak led the Goddesses with 10 and Powlovich added 8.

Legend of the Week –Worthams(Squires and Showtime)

Worthams pulled double duty and poured in a combined 63 points in leading two teams to victory. His 31 points led the Showtime to a 59 to 49 victory over the Savages. In game #2, his 32 points fueled the Squires to a 64 to 57 victory over the GreyThunder.

1)Bogin(Borg) –In a close two point victory over the Heat, the Borg were led by Bogin’s 23 points.

2)Belcher (Terminators) – Armand Belcher had a game high 19 points to lead the Terminators to a 62 to 54 victory over the Khanmen.

3)Cocca(Thangs) –With superstar Scott Pitts having an off game, Eric Cocca led the Thangs to a huge 34 to 28 victory over the Zephyrs with 12 points.

Ladies Legend of the Week – Sarah Hardenbergh (Wolves)

In the marquee matchup of the night for the Ladies League, the 1-loss Wolves clashed with the 1-loss Lightning. The Lightning had no answers for Hardenbergh who dominated the paint and led the Wolves to the 47 to 37 win with 17 points.

Xmen / The Xmen took care of TOTAL AIR 54 to 49 as Julien had 21 points.
TOTAL AIR / Lee had 25 and Rob added 13 in the loss.
Squires / See above. Maynard chipped in with 11 in the win over the GreyThunder
GreyThunder / Jacobs and Ipsan each had 15 in the loss.
Ninja / In a close 5 point victory, Hay had 20 and Martinez added 12.
Jackals / In the 44 to 39 loss, the Jackals were led by Goff’s 18 points.
Money / The Money were money in disposing of the RimRockers 54 to 46. Peyrebrune had 14 while Blendell and Holton each added 10.
RimRockers / Posey and Maynard led the way for the RimRockers with 16 and 13 points respectively.
Elders / The Elders continued their winning ways by beating the LittleLeaguers 53 to 45 as Kyle Rice had 12.
LittleLeaguers / Crowder’s 13 and Stanos’s 11 led the way for the LittleLeaguers.
Showtime / See above. Hendrick had a nice game as well with 16 points.
Savages / The Savages were led by Marra who had 15 and Maynard who had 13.

CACI 1 / In a low scoring affair, CACI 1 took care of CACI Commonwealth, 31 to 30 as Mek had 8 and Tabor added 6 points.
CACI Commonwealth / In defeat, Heard led the way with 11 points.
StrongArms / The StrongArms easily took care of the HoundDogs 59 to 41. McCleary had 17 and Kissling had 12 in the win.
HoundDogs / Tannenbaum was the only HoundDog to show up and scored 19 points in the loss.

Islanders / Islanders win! Islanders win! Hell freezes over! The Islanders picked up their first win of the season in a nail-biter winning 24 to 23 over the Hoosiers as Sethi led the way with 10.
Hoosiers / A distraught Hoosiers team was led by Brandmark with 12 and Michalski with 9.
