Erewash Voluntary Action Small Grants Scheme
Small grants are available through the Erewash Small Grants Scheme for local Erewash community and voluntary groups. Groups can apply for up to £1,500 as long as projects meet at least one of the health priorities of the scheme. The aim of the grant is to help improve services and opportunities for local people. Funding can help support things like equipment, events, activities and guest speakers.
Applications can be made at any time using the grant application form.

Erewash Voluntary Action manages the small grants scheme in partnership with Erewash Clinical Commissioning Group, Erewash Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council Adult Care.
Erewash Borough Council – Community Grant Scheme
Erewash Borough Council'sCommunity Grant Scheme gives both large and small voluntary organisations the chance to apply for funding of up to £2,000 for projects and services that benefit Erewash residents. The Councilcontinued its support in 2015-16 for voluntary organisations andmade £80,000 availableto help as many groups as possible.

Foundation Derbyshire
Foundation Derbyshire manages an endowment fund of over £6 million. The average grant is around £1,000 and usually covers a 12 month period. Programmes may cover equipment (capital) and general running costs.
There is a new Social Action Fund to engage more young people in volunteering opportunities in their communities. The target age range is 10 -20 years and extends to up to 25 years for disabled people. The maximum grant is £5,000 and projects should run for a full year. Rosa Fund for Women and Girls
Rosa the UK Fund for women and girls has launched the Woman to Woman Fund with grants of up to £25,000. No fewer than 100 local grassroots women’s organisations across the UK will be supported using funds from the Tampon Tax. Grants are available for groups with an income of under £100,000 per year to support a wide range of charitable work that benefits women e.g. building confidence and leadership skills. Rosa wants to support groups that work with disadvantaged communities or in disadvantaged areas.
Round 1 deadline for applications is 16 January 2017 and successful applicants will be informed by the end of March. Round 2 of the Woman to Woman fund will open in May 2017 and Round 3 in September 2017.

Sport England Funding Programme
Sport England have announced their Funding Programme which includes a Community Assets Fund, a fund to tackle inactivity and funding for volunteering.
Sport England New Active Ageing Fund is now open. Sport England is looking to fund brilliant ideas to support inactive older people. They are investing up to £10 million into projects that help inactive older people get active through their Active Ageing Fund. The length of project is one year.
The closing date for Expressions of Interest is Midday 13 February 2017

Esme Fairbairn Foundation
The Esme Fairbairn Foundation has launched a new £10 million fund for charities working with young people leaving care called Young People Leaving Care. The Foundation aims to award £2 million per year in projects that support young people make the transition into adulthood.

Greggs Foundation
The Local Community Projects Fund helps organisations based in local communities to deliver projects or provide equipment to people in need at the heart of local communities. Any not for profit organisation can apply. The types of projects would include those that will improve resilience within communities. Running costs or continuation of existing and ongoing work will not be funded. Awards are more likely to be made to organisations based near Gregg’s shops. The maximum grant is £2,000.
Round 1 is now open and closes on 3 March 2017.

Post Code Community Trust
Postcode Community Trust is a grant giving body funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. The Postcode Community Trust aims to fund local charities and non-profit community businesses seeking to change the community in appositive way. During 2017 there will be two rounds divided into two stages with Stage 1 comprising an expression of interest form. On-line applications will only be accepted.
Round 1 opens for expression of interest on 23 January and closes on 10 February 2017.
