Student Driving and Parking Rules
- No student may operate or park any motor vehicle on the property of CB East without either having an application for a parking permit filled out and on file in the safety and security office or permission from their house principal.
- Operating and parking a motor vehicle on school property is a privilege. Any discipline referral, unsatisfied school obligation or repeated unexcused lateness to your first scheduled class may result in the loss of your parking privilege.
- No student is permitted to park in the faculty designated parking spaces (1-101) in the student parking lot, any faculty parking space in the front of CB East high school or in the Holicong parking lot unless granted permission from their house principal.
- While driving on school property, all Pennsylvania motor vehicle laws must be obeyed. The speed limit on school property is 10 mph.
- You will not text while you are operating your vehicle.
- Your seatbelt must always be in use when you are operating your vehicle.
- There will be NO RUNNING in the student parking lot. Your driving privileges will be suspended and there will be disciplinary measures as well.
- If you are driving a different vehicle than the vehicle you registered, you must fill out parking slip and turn it into the Safety and Security office prior to 9am or that vehicle will be ticketed.
- No student may go out to their vehicle without the permission of a school administrator (principal, security).
- Your parking permit must be placed on the bottom front right of your windshield.
- All students will back their vehicles into their parking space.
- Vehicles parked in violation of the above-mentioned rules or deemed by the administration to be positioned in a way that may impede the arrival or use of fire and/or rescue equipment will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Any vehicle parked on school property may be searched by school administration if warranted.
- All traffic must exit North (left) onto Anderson road from the student parking lot. Right turns are not permitted and will result in the automatic suspension of your parking permit and additional disciplinary measures.
- When driving in the lot, students will follow the aisles. Cutting across the parking lot could cause accidents and is not permitted. Students who cut across aisles will lose parking privileges for the following school day. Subsequent offenses will result in increased loss of privileges.
