What team resources do you have to fight my case? Do you have medical experts, investigators and other experts to help me prove damages?

3. Questions to ask about the injury lawyer’s experience
Is injury law the primary focus of your practice?
How long have you practiced personal injury law?
How much experience do you have with different insurance companies, adjusters, or their legal counsel?
How many injury law cases have you handled?
I was injured in a______accident. Have you dealt with cases involving this type of accident or similar types of accidents? (Be as specific as possible. For instance, if you were injured in a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident, ask specifically about the injury lawyer’s experience with motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accidents, not just car accidents.)
I have a______injury. Have you dealt with the type of injury I suffered or similar injuries? (Be as specific as possible. For instance, if you have a spinal cord injury, ask specifically about the injury lawyer’s experience with spinal cord injuries, not just back injuries.)

7. Questions to ask if you hire the personal injury lawyer
If I hire you, are you the only lawyer that will be working on my case?
If you are the only lawyer working on my case, what is your case load and can you give my case the time it deserves?
If I have to deal with more than one lawyer on your team, who will be in charge? Will the other lawyers be really familiar with my case or will I have to explain it to each of them?
If you are my lawyer, will we sign a contract? Will the contract specify your fee and payment requirements?
If I hire you, who do I contact if I have questions?
When are you available to answer my questions?
