HILLS N’ DALES

PROPERTY OWNER’S ORGANIZATION

·  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Gary Hawthorne

·  The meeting was held at the home of Rhonda and Rick Metz, 111 Hi Line Dr. W.

·  Those in attendance were Gary & Susan Hawthorne, Rhonda Metz, Jim & Judy Campbell, Barney Murray, Larry & Ruth Jelf, Ruth Vetter, and Mike Fisher.

·  The Minutes from the previous meet, held on Sept. 19, 2009, were read by Secretary Jim Campbell. A motion to approve the Minutes was made by Rhonda Metz. Susan Hawthorne seconded the motion. The Minutes were approved as read.

·  The Treasurer’s Report was presented by Treasurer Rhonda Metz. The report reflected a current balance of $683.45. However, it was noted that two recent transactions were not included in the report:

-  $190 of un-deposited checks from 2010 dues had just been received

-  and a $65.47 reimbursement check had just been written for printing and postage.

The revised figures showed a new balance of $807.98.

There were no other corrections or objections to the Treasurer’s Report. A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report was made by Judy Campbell and seconded by Barney Murray. The Treasurer’s Report was approved.

·  A copy of the Treasurer’s Report is attached to these Minutes and incorporated by reference.

·  Old Business:

o  It was discussed and approved that the Ingram Volunteer Fire Department would be issued a check from the organization in the amount of $100., and that $25 would be sent to them for each death in the Hills N’ Dales neighborhood - - a practice which has been ongoing since the organization was established. The motion was made by Susan Hawthorne and seconded by Judy Campbell.

·  New business:

o  Election of new officers

§  The following persons were nominated and agreed to serve as officers of the organization:

§  President – Gary Hawthorne (second term)

§  Secretary – Jim Campbell (third term)

§  Treasurer – Linda Pillow (first term)

§  Past Treasurer Rhonda Metz was thanked and commended for her service to the Hills N’ Dales Property Owner’s Organization.

o  Judy Campbell recommended the organization update the 2007 Property Owner’s Directory. Jim Campbell, Susan Hawthorne, and Ruth Vetter agreed to work on the committee.

o  The idea of having a Holiday Party was suggested by Rhonda Metz and Gary Hawthorne. After some discussion, it was decided that a supper- party would be held at Billy Gene’s Restaurant. Gary Hawthorne called the restaurant and spoke with Laura. A room was reserved for 6:30 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 1st. Attendees will be allowed to order off the menu and pay for their own meals. Judy Campbell, Ruth Vetter, and Ruth Jelf agreed to serve on the committee and organize the party.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
