What is Parent Portal? Parent Portal is a Web-Friendly state-of-the-art system designed by K12 Systems allowing parents to access to their children's academic grades and attendance via the Internet.

PARENTS REGISTERING THEIR FIRST STUDENTS

When the registration has been completed and submitted electronically, the parents must then print out the application, sign it and send it (US MAIL) to the following address:

Failure to return the signed application will result in a “pending” application, which will not be approved.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: After you have returned the signed application and allowed a 48-hour turnaround period for approval, you should watch for your PIN to arrive in your SPAM/Junk Folders, as they tend to end up in that folder. If a parent doesn’t receive the PIN via e-mail within 5 days of mailing the application, contact us for assistance.

ALL inquiries regarding the parent portal (lost PINs, No PINs, forgotten passwords, login assistance, general questions, etc.) must be submitted to k12questions @methacton.org.

Make sure to include the full name and children(s) name(s)/school(s) when inquiring. All e-mail is answered within 24 hours.

If you already have an existing account and would like to add another child to it, you need to log into your account and click on your name in the top right corner. This will open up your account profile. On the left side of the screen under Account Settings choose “Students.” Once open select the option at the bottom of the screen “request to access new students.” Fill in the student information and hit submit request. The request will then be sent to the school district for approval. You will receive a confirming email once your child has been approved and added to your account.

Also, it is very helpful to view and/or print out the user manual. Once logged in to your account, go to the very bottom of the screen to access FAQ’s and the manual.
