Item No 1 - WALK-IN COOLER/FREEZER COMBO 1 Required

Kolpak Ind Inc Refrigerator, Walk-In Unit to be a Refrigerator +35° F. and Freezer -10° F. of size and shape as shown on plan x 9' – 2 1/4" high.

Wall and ceiling panels shall be 4" urethane, U.L. Flame Spread 25 insulation. Panels are without wooden structural members.

Hinged entrance door(s) to be flush type, hinged as shown on plan.

Provide one (1) lot removable closure panels with channels, the same finish as exterior panels to 4” above finished ceiling. (F.S.E. Contractor to verify ceiling height).

One (1) lot of trim strip, where required to close in wall gaps, of same finish as exterior panels to finished ceiling. (F.S.E. Contractor to verify height).

Options:

·  Floorless with flat bottom wall panels in recess. Slab urethane insulation, vapor barrier and quarry tile w/ minimum 3" setting bed by General Contractor.

·  Embossed aluminum white interior and exposed exterior.

·  Unexposed exterior finish to be galvalume.

·  Hinged doors to be 36" wide x 84" high with third hinge, Schlage dead bolt (on exterior doors only), anti condensate heaters in full perimeter of door and frame (freezer only), aluminum diamond tread kick plate, 3'-0" high on exterior and interior of door and jamb, 14" x 14" vision panel and automatic door closer, Kason K-1094. Thru ceiling door electrical assembly as shown on detail E-1-4. CCI Cool Curtain Clear View Swing Door on exterior doors only.

·  Factory cut door for tile floor conditions.

·  Approved Lithonia fluorescent light fixtures and switches, installed and wired by the Electrical Division per detail E-1-4. (See electrical plan for quantity and location of lights and switches).

·  Wainscot on exposed exterior, 1/8" aluminum diamond plate. Top to align with top of kickplate on door.

Item No 2 - SHELVING UNIT LOT Required

Metro Equip Model No Super Erecta Metroseal II Series of size and shape as shown on plan x 4 tiers high. 74" high posts to match shelf type.

·  Unit to be mobile mounted 5" diameter polyurethane swivel casters, two (2) swivel and two(2) with brakes.

·  Metroseal II wire shelving.

Item No 3 - RACK, UTILITY - UNIVERSAL ANGLE 13 Required

Crescent Metal Model No 207-UA-13, Rack, Mobile Utility, full height, open sides, universal slides for 12"x20" thru 18"x26" pans, slides on approximately 1-1/2" centers, welded tubular aluminum frame. Corner bumpers.

Item No 4 - ICE MAKER, DISPENSER 1 Required

Hoshizaki Model No KM-150BAF, Crescent ice cuber with built-in storage bin, 70 lb. Capacity. 152lbs. of ice production per 24 hrs.

·  See electrical plan for electrical characteristics.

·  Provide five (5) year compressor warranty and one (1) year refrigeration service contract.

·  Provide flexible water disconnects for installation by Plumbing Division.

·  This item to be connected to central filtration system by Division 15.

Item No 5 - EVAPORATOR COIL, MED. TEMP. 2 Required

Hussmann Model No HC6A135AB, Unit to be adequately sized to operate Item 1, Refrigerator Compartment @ +35° F. Electrical hook-up and interconnecting of system to be by the Electrical Contractor. Specified under item 17, Protocol Refrigeration Rack. Foodservice Equipment Contractor to provide complete and operable refrigeration system.

Item No 6 - EVAPORATOR COIL, LOW TEMP 1 Required

Hussmann Model No HC4E210AA, Unit to be adequately sized to operate Item 1, Freezer Compartment @ -10° F. Electrical hook-up and interconnecting of system to be by the Electrical Contractor. Specified under item 17, Protocol Refrigeration Rack. Foodservice Equipment Contractor to provide complete and operable refrigeration system.

·  Heat tape for low temp coil drain line furnished and installed by the FSE Contractor. Final electrical connection to heat tape by Electrical Division.

·  Metroseal type shelving. Provide per size and shape as shown on plan.

·  Provide with 1 ea. Amtrol model WX-405 Tank, 24 gallon drawdown.

Mount system as specified, tee at effluent ¾” valve, one side of tee to Amtrol tank, the other to supply kitchen equipment.

HUSSMAN Model No PV06PK-LSLSMCMCMEME, Vertical Protocol Refrigeration

Rack System.

·  Description: Unit shall consist of two multiplexed parallel compressors for the low temperature fixtures and four multiplexed parallel compressors for the medium temperature fixtures; using refrigerant 404A. Compressors shall be of the glacier scroll type. Unit to operate fixtures described in refrigeration schedule shown on preliminary shop drawing.

·  The unit shall have a single liquid line to the evaporators or fixtures to be served. Two common suction lines shall return to the refrigeration unit, one for the low temperature fixtures and one for the medium temperature fixtures.

·  Unit shall be vertical configuration and to be installed indoors. Internal piping shall incorporate pre-bent tubing to eliminate elbows and braze joints. Vertical Protocol must be serviceable from the front and top of the unit. Access to either side of the unit is also highly recommended. A minimum of 42 inches clearance is required. Follow NEC guidelines. All refrigeration and water stub-outs to be located at the rear of the unit.

·  A factory furnished replaceable core suction filter per suction group to be supplied with each unit for field installation by refrigeration contractor.

·  Unit shall include a plate heat exchanger as a condenser. A maximum water temperature of 85°F to the inlet of the condenser shall be supplied from a chiller. The water loop shall be a closed system. A factory supplied water regulating valve and mesh strainer shall be field installed by the plumbing contractor at the condenser water outlet to control discharge pressure of the Protocol unit. Plumbing contractor to provide cold water supply and return to Protocol condenser. Water piping shall be copper tubing. Necessary valves for isolation and by-pass of water regulator valve shall be field supplied and installed by plumbing contractor.

·  Each compressor shall incorporate an electronic oil regulator, high pressure and high temperature safety. The unit shall include one low pressure control per suction group.

·  Unit will operate on 480V, 3-Phase power supply. The unit will require two separate power feeds and shall include two factory mounted disconnect switches. The disconnect switch for busbar #1 in the Protocol Unit shall be powered to an emergency back-up service to provide continuous refrigeration for the bulk walk-in freezer & bulk walk-in cooler. This includes compressor power, bulk walk-in cooler/freezer evaporator fans & walk-in freezer defrost heater power and defrost solenoid valves for items 5 & 6. The disconnect switch for bussbar #2 shall be powered from regular switchgear service. Electrical contractor shall be responsible for field wiring from bulk cooler/freezer fans & defrost heaters and defrost solenoid valves for items as indicated in refrigeration schedule. Electrical contractor shall be responsible for supplying necessary power from Protocol unit control panel to walk-ins and refrigerated items controlled by Protocol unit. Refrigerated bases, cold pans and under-counter refrigerators shall be powered from a remote electrical panel supplied by the electrical contractor.

·  The unit shall include an electronic control staging the compressors to match the refrigeration load by means of a suction pressure transducer. The controller will also initiate/terminate defrost schedules and cycle defrost heaters. Set points and schedules may be altered using keypad on the electronic controller that will be factory mounted in the control panel of each unit.

·  One temperature sensor per walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer shall be factory supplied for field installation to monitor & control temperatures from the electronic controller. Electrical contractor shall wire and supply shielded Belden cable #8761, 22 AWG, 2 conductor twisted shielded pair or equivalent from the Protocol Unit to each temperature sensor. Sensor wiring should be routed away from power lines of other high electrical noise environments.

·  Walk-in freezer/cooler coils shall include factory installed expansion valves. Liquid solenoid valves shall be factory supplied for field installation.

·  For all other refrigerated fixtures; defrost time clocks, thermostats, solenoid valves and expansion valves for refrigerant R404a shall be supplied by the fixture’s manufacturer or by refrigeration contractor. Electrical contractor shall supply power from remote switchgear.

·  Items connected to the refrigeration rack are indicated in the refrigeration schedule.

·  Chiller and circulating pumps for the closed water loop to be supplied by others and to be coordinated with the General Contractor.

·  Isolation valves for all refrigerated fixtures are highly recommended and shall be supplied and installed by refrigeration contractor.

Provide factory supervision of installation.

Custom Fabricate, Unit to be size and shape as shown on plan x 36" high w/ 6" high splash per detail C-1-1A Type "A" edge, C-1-1B backsplash and C-7-1. Provide with the following:

·  Shelf, splash mounted, single tier of size and shape as shown on plan per detail C-1-6.

·  Provide clearance to accommodate installation of Item 35 on table top.

·  Convenience receptacle(s), splash mounted as shown on electrical plan.

·  Drip trough, approximately 24" long, fully stainless steel construction with drip tray with grommeted finger hole. Unit to have positive slope on bottom of drain tray. Construct similar to detail C-2-1B.

·  Open base table with side cross bars to accommodate placement of Item 4, Ice Maker, Cuber.

·  Accommodate installation of ice machine below table. Provide 1” high custom channel base.

·  One (1) 20" x 20" x 10" deep coffee drawer constructed per details C-1-3A, C-1-3B, C-1-3C and C-1-3D. Lock hasp.

·  One (1) 20" x 20" x 5" deep utility drawer constructed per details C-1-3A, C-1-3B, C-1-3C and C-1-3D. Lock hasp.

·  Provide unit with full length undershelf.
