BLACK HISTORY MONTH RESEARCH MINI-PROJECT

Part I

Complete the research notes that are outlined on this sheet on one individual. Your person may come from the list provided in class, or a person you choose. This is American History so they do need to be an American or have a significant impact on American culture, politics, etc.

Part 2

Create a visual (flyer size poster) about your individual. This will need to be designed digitally so that it can be printed in color to display somewhere in the school. You must include (1) the person’s name, (2) their date of birth and death if applicable, (3) accomplishments they are most known for, (4) how they impacted the history or current culture in the United States, and (5) a minimum of three images. Your visual needs to be creative and professional. These will be displayed for staff and students to view.

This is an extra credit grade due no later than Friday February 10th.
